Beyond That Path (Original Comic) - Prologue Sketch Compilation

This is a long term comic project I've been working on for a few years now. Since it's mostly a free time project, I've been working on it on and off. I already have a finished script for the whole thing and most major events are solid, although many smaller details are subject to change.

These are the pencil sketches for the prologue - Most of the things in these pages will remain the same when I move onto inking, except for some tweaks in lining a couple panel images, dialogue bubbles and adding some missing info in the dialogue that I haven't confirmed yet.

The story tells about a young aspiring mage named Alec who fails to graduate and become an official mage. Due to this he is to travel and study under his sister, but on his way destiny meddles with him and a series of unfortunate events lead up to his early death. However, like a cosmic joke, an angel saves him and he receives a second chance at life, but now only has a months worth of time to "prove his worth" if he wants to keep living after that.
