This is a short compilation of some of the motion capture cleanup I did as an intern for the Finnish Defense Forces and their app "Mars Mars".
"Mars Mars" is a free mobile app consisting of educational training clips that can be organized into individual training regimes depending on the user's own physical health.
My job was to clean the raw mocap animations and process them so that they could be used in this app. My work consisted of animating in Autodesk Maya using their Human IK MoCap retarget tools, some 3D prop modelling, texturing and rigging, as well as applying the fixed animations onto the premade Metahuman characters in Unreal Engine 5.
I also did some minor work in UE5, including adding and animating cameras for each of the animations I was assigned before exporting the animations.
The final fixes and renders were exported out of Adobe Premiere Pro.
